Halo 4 + Mountain Dew + Doritos: The Perfect Combination!
Some of you may remember last year’s Mountain Dew Game Fuel release that promoted Call of Duty and featured codes for Double XP. Well now Game Fuel and Double XP are back to promote the upcoming masterpiece of a game, Halo 4! Some of you may also remember that Game Fuel was originally released in 2007 to promote Halo 3, which makes this promotion such an awesome blast from the past.
Beginning on October 15, fans will be able to redeem codes on the DewXP website that they find on specially marked Mountain Dew® and Doritos® packaging. These codes cash in for double in-game experience points in-game when Halo 4® launches on November 6th! For more details, check out the official DewXP website!
Regional Malt Dew Promotion Now In Design Phase
As we’ve been reporting, the Regional Malt Dew is giving fans the opportunity to name and design a new Mountain Dew flavor (Malt with Lemon Lime) that will use a different design depending on the part of the country you find it in.
Today marks the first day of the label design portion, where fans can create custom labels to be voted for in the next phase of the promotion. Above are the designs that have currently been submitted.

The suggestive imagery features a faux 17oz can and is plastered all over the city (specifically 3rd Ave and 13th St, Broome and Mott, Houston and Norfolk, East Broadway and Rutgers St, Delancey St and Norfolk St). A while back, we reported that Mountain Dew UK would be getting a Game Fuel edition for Halo 4, and now, I am more than overjoyed to be reporting to you that the original Citrus-Cherry Game Fuel flavor will be returning to American stores sometime soon to promote Halo 4!
